Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Broker to join our locally owned, independent brokerage. This position includes leadership responsibilities, with the successful candidate acting as an Assistant Office Manager, supporting daily operations and providing guidance to the brokerage team alongside management. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior broker looking to grow into a leadership-focused role while maintaining a book of business. You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email Assist customers with their commercial insurance needs. You will manage and build customer relationships and grow your book of business Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business. What you’ll do: Service existing clients Write new business Utilize technology to do your work, stay organized and keep good documentation. Support daily office operations in an assistant manager capacity Provide mentorship, guidance and support to other brokers in collaboration with management
Qualifications:
Minimum Level 1 General Insurance License and prior industry experience are required Experience with Epic, Applied Rating services, and company portals is an asset. A knowledgeable insurance broker who has excellent communication skills, provides expert advice, values customer service, is adaptable and committed to continuous learning.
