AIC Exam Prep

In order to sell property and casualty insurance within the province of Alberta you must first become licensed through the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC). There are three levels to the general insurance license. They must be earned sequentially but you do not need to earn all three.

Licensing Equivalencies

The AIC recognizes the CAIB program as containing equivalent education to that of their General Insurance licensing exams. Many students prefer the CAIB designation to the traditional licensing path due to the higher success rate, national recognition, and the deeper level of general insurance knowledge provided by the program.
