Alberta Licensing Level-1 Immersion (In Person)

Prepare for the Alberta Insurance Council(AIC)Licensing Level 1 General exam and the AIC Adjuster exam with this introductory licensing course.

This will be your introduction to Alberta General Insurance. Once you acquire your Level 1 License you will primarily work as a front-end customer service representative. You may also work in a support role for Level 2 and Level 3 brokers in the office. You will be supervised by a Level 2 or Level 3 broker.

Meet Cody Kersey, an accomplished professional with a decade of experience in the insurance industry. With a passion for providing exceptional service and expertise, Cody has made his mark in various roles, continuously seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow.

Cody initially embarked on his insurance journey by specializing in home claims repairs across Alberta. Through his dedication and commitment to his craft, he quickly established himself as a reliable and knowledgeable expert in the field. Seeking to broaden his horizons, Cody made a transition to Western Financial where he thrived as a personal lines broker. As part of a dynamic new business team initiative he played a crucial role in expanding the company's presence throughout Alberta.

Recognized for his exceptional skills and contributions, Cody's talent didn't go unnoticed. Joining the prestigious Allstate Canada, he secured the coveted Forecaster award for his outstanding achievements in new business development. During his time at Allstate Canada Cody discovered a deep passion for training and mentoring aspiring brokers. Collaborating with industry expert, Laurie Burdett, he took on the responsibility of providing General Level 1 and 2 training to new brokers, imparting his knowledge and skills to help them excel.

Driven by his love for training and nurturing talent, Cody made a pivotal decision to accept a full-time position at Ballad Group alongside Laurie Burdett. In this role Cody continues to dedicate himself to training and development, empowering individuals within the insurance industry to reach their full potential.
