Prepare for the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) Licensing Level 1 General exam, or obtain study material for the AIC Adjuster exam with this introductory Licensing course. The Fundamentals of Insurance course textbook (shipped with all registrations) includes Alberta-specific materials and up-to-date licensing requirements. Registration will include the full textbook as well as 90-days of access to the online certification tool, completion of which will grant the student the ability to book their exam through the AIC.
This will be your introduction to Alberta General Insurance. Once you acquire your Level 1 License you will primarily work as a front-end customer service representative. You may also work in a support role for Level 2 and Level 3 brokers in the office. You will be supervised by a Level 2 or Level 3 broker.

AIC Exam
IBAA provides insurance courses and study material. For the exam, register with the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC). AIC needs your CIPR #, so if you don't have one, obtain it first from the Canadian Insurance Participant Registry.
To write the Level 1 Licensing exam you will be required to complete the GLQP exam found in the Litmos online tool provided after registering.
