We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Broker to join our locally owned, independent brokerage. This position includes leadership responsibilities, with the successful candidate acting as an Assistant Office Manager, supporting daily operations and providing guidance to the brokerage team alongside management. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior broker looking to grow into a leadership-focused role while maintaining a book of business. You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email Assist customers with their commercial insurance needs. You will manage and build customer relationships and grow your book of business Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business. What you’ll do: Service existing clients Write new business Utilize technology to do your work, stay organized and keep good documentation. Support daily office operations in an assistant manager capacity Provide mentorship, guidance and support to other brokers in collaboration with management

This role can be based out of our Sylvan Lake office, a hybrid work-from-home, or even fully remote. We are looking for a driven individual who is prepared to hit the road to grow the book. This is a sales heavy position that will allow you to have the flexibility of where you work. Primary Responsibilities: • Be a friendly and professional point of contact for clients from all departments • Support and promote insurance products and services that meet client needs • Create and produce new insurance policies in an effective and efficient manner • Set goals with Management and reach new business sales targets • Identify client needs and sales opportunities for additional coverages • Knowledge of the Alberta insurance industry and local regulations • Experience working with Acturis will be considered an asset
