Motor Truck Cargo insurance is critical when protecting goods in transit. In this session, you will learn about the trucking industry in Canada. Review components such as number of shipments done in Canada, number of for hire companies and other factors in motor truck cargo. Will look at various factors of motor truck cargo insurance, what motor truck cargo policies typically include, common exclusions, coverage options. We will also review common cargo related terms, driver selection. We will look at types of cargo and discuss commodity classes and well as claim scenarios. To end things, there will be a review with PAL’s appetite in the motor truck cargo space.

Tracey Paish has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Throughout her career, she has held roles as an underwriter, facilitator, and marketer. For the past seven years, she has served as a Business Development Director.
Stephanie Langlois has been with PAL Insurance Brokers for more than 12 years as an underwriter. She began her career underwriting in the event sector and, for the last five years, has been part of the commercial team, where she works as a Senior Commercial Underwriter.
