During registration you will be given two options for purchase:

All digital content (text and practice material) will only be available for 18 months from the date of purchase. Your exam must be booked and written within 12 months of purchase.

Upon enrollment, you will be granted access to the digital material within 2 -3 business days, any physical text will arrive within 5 - 7 business days. We recommend taking this into account during registration, so you give yourself enough time to prepare for the course.

CAIB 3 New Edition – Course Overview

CAIB 3 builds on foundational insurance knowledge and focuses on advanced commercial lines, complex risk exposures, and specialized insurance solutions. Through 9 modules, learners develop the technical expertise and analytical skills required to advise commercial clients effectively and prepare for the CAIB 3 exam.

• Module 1 - Business Interruption Insurance – Coverage for income loss and extra expenses resulting from insured business interruptions.
• Module 2 - Crime Insurance – Protection against losses caused by fraud, theft, and other criminal acts.
• Module 3 - Cyber Insurance – Coverage for data breaches, cyberattacks, and technology-related risks.
• Module 4 - Marine Insurance – Insurance for goods in transit, vessels, and marine-related liabilities.
• Module 5 - Aviation Insurance – Coverage for aircraft, aviation liability, and operational risks.
• Module 6 - Reinsurance – Risk-sharing arrangements that help insurers manage large or complex exposures.
• Module 7 - Directors’ and Officers’ Liability Insurance – Protection for directors and officers against management-related claims.
• Module 8 - Surety Bonding – Financial guarantees ensuring contractual and regulatory obligations are met.
• Module 9 - Risk Assessment for Advanced Commercial Risks – Identification and evaluation of complex commercial risk exposures.

Instructor/Facilitator | Sasha Sather, CAIB (Hons) 

Sasha Sather brings over a decade of dynamic experience in the insurance industry, with a career marked by excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to professional growth. Originally from Saskatchewan, Sasha began her journey in Alberta as a claims adjuster before transitioning to a broker role in 2016. Her dedication to the craft quickly stood out—earning the top mark in Canada for her CAIB Designation in 2017, followed by her CIP designation in 2020.

Sasha’s leadership skills were recognized when she became Branch Manager of Drayden Insurance Ltd.’s Morinville location, where she fostered team development and operational success. In 2025, she stepped into a strategic role as Commercial Underwriting and Account Manager, serving as the pen for Drayden’s program business across eight branches.

Known for her sharp technical knowledge, practical insights, and approachable teaching style, Sasha is passionate about empowering others in the industry to grow their confidence and capabilities. Whether mentoring new professionals or leading advanced training, she brings clarity, warmth, and real-world expertise to every session.

All purchases of the CAIB New Edition content are final sale. In the event that a course is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be given the option of transferring your purchase to an upcoming course, or receive a refund for the difference in price between Self-Study and your chosen course.
