You will be required to login in order to purchase this course. If you do not have an account you will be asked to create one. Completion of this course is mandatory for all brokers for any policies dating January 1st, 2027 onward.

Care-First Foundations is a six (6) part online digital course covering the details of Care-First for Insurance Brokers and agents and was developed by the Government of Alberta.

The entire course must be taken in order to be considered complete. Learners are required to achieve a minimum passing grade of 80% or more in each topic.

Each topic will conclude with a quiz. You will have 2 attempts at each quiz to achieve the 80%. If you do not achieve the passing mark, you will need to restart that topic before you will be able to attempt the quiz again.

• Part 4 - Ability to sue and third-party liability
• Part 5 - Guiding Injured Albertans Through the Claims Process

Upon completion of all 6 modules you will be awarded 15 CE credits for General licenses.
