Cyber Insurance can be complex and confusing. The presentation goes through the various controls and requirements that businesses must have to obtain cyber insurance. The course explains MFA, Firewalls, Backup rules, Principal of Least Privilege, patch management, software end of life issues, disaster recovery plans and financial crime and fraud. It then maps that to the NIST framework which is a standard for cyber security. How insurance plays a part in loss transfer and then ends with several examples.
