 u will need to take the requisite exam. All exams are closed-book\, 3.5 ho
 urs in length\, and will be written digitally\, via the internet. To regis
 ter you will use the link below. Please be aware of the proctor options an
 d restrictions while completing your registration. If you have already reg
 istered and just need to change your date\, please contact our <a href=\"m
 ailto:education@ibaa.ca\">Education Team</a> via email with the new date. 
 You will also need to communicate this date change with your proctor.</p>\
 n\n<p>Upon exam approval by IBAA\, exams must be completed within one (1) 
 calendar year from the date of registration. Please see <a href=\"https://
 ibaa.ca/education/education-policies.html\">Education Policies</a> - Desig
 nation Exam Policies section for additional details on Exam Registrations\
 , Changes\, and Withdrawals.</p>\n\n<p>You will receive your mark via emai
 l\, it will take between 1-3 weeks to complete this process. Exams require
  a minimum grade of 60% to pass. In the event that you fail you can rewrit
 e any exam as many times as you&#39\;d like at a cost of <strong>$160/$210
 </strong>. Exams that fall between 55%-59% will be remarked before you rec
 eive your final grade.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Important:</strong> CAIB Exam reg
 istrations will not be approved and the process will not begin until both 
 payment is received and an appropriate proctor has been submitted. Virtual
  Proctors are approved as soon as payment is made\, but Physical Proctors 
 must be manually approved by our Education Team.</p>\n\n<h3>Proctor Types<
 /h3>\n\n<p><strong>Virtual Proctor</strong></p>\n\n<p>The virtual proctor 
 option will allow students significant flexibility in when and where you w
 rite your exam. Through the Meazure Learning/ProctorU platform&nbsp\;you w
 ill be connected to a a proctor and be asked to showcase your workstation 
 to retain the integrity of your exam. When registering with this option yo
 u do not need to pick a date right away\, Meazure Learning/ProctorU will c
 ontact you to book the event itself.</p>\n\n<p><em>Examity will charge a f
 ee of approximately $36.00 USD for each booking. (This pricing will be inc
 reasing as of Dec 31\, 2024)</em></p>\n\n<p><strong>Physical Proctor</stro
 ng></p>\n\n<p>We recognize that some students will still prefer an in-pers
 on proctor. To secure a physical proctor you will need to source them your
 self\, and they will need to meet the requirements set out on the <a href=
 \"/files/education/caib/caib-proctor-form-21.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Proct
 or Nomination Form</a>.</p>\n\n<p><em>For those who have written a previou
 s exam\, please be aware that with the introduction of the Virtual proctor
 \, licensed brokers as a proctor option are no longer acceptable.</em></p>
